Exclusive Look Inside Netflix House: Wednesday, Stranger Things, and More Immersive Attractions!

Get ready for an extraordinary adventure with Netflix House, where the world of ‘Wednesday’ and other iconic shows come alive!

Immersive Entertainment at its Finest

Netflix, the streaming giant, has taken its shows beyond our screens and into our malls, creating an immersive experience like no other. Imagine stepping into the sets of ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Wednesday’, or playing mini-golf inspired by ‘Love is Blind’ and WWE!

But here’s where it gets controversial… Netflix House is not just about the attractions. It’s a multi-faceted entertainment hub, offering a full-service restaurant, a merchandise store, and a movie theater. And the best part? It’s all under one roof!

The Birth of Netflix House

Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee reveals that the idea for Netflix House has been brewing for years. After successful fan activations and a ‘Stranger Things’ drive-in experience, Netflix began testing various concepts in cities worldwide.

Partnering with Simon Malls, the largest shopping mall group, allowed Netflix to create permanent homes for its fans. And with huge spaces and foot traffic, Netflix House aims to cater to families seeking unique day-out experiences.

Exploring Netflix House

Upon entering Netflix House in King of Prussia, you’ll be greeted by giant murals showcasing Netflix shows. The ground floor offers two exciting experiences: ‘Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts’ with carnival games and mysteries, and ‘One Piece: Quest for the Devil Fruit’, an escape room adventure that’s sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

As you ascend the Netflix-red stairs, you’ll find a massive store offering Netflix merchandise and even localized gear in Philadelphia Eagles colors. The store showcases unique items like ‘Bridgerton’ coloring books and ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ ramen packs.

Behind the store, Netflix Bites, a restaurant with a shiny brick pizza oven, serves dishes inspired by Netflix hits like ‘Selling Sunset’ and ‘Bridgerton’.

Nearby, you’ll discover two more large attractions: a nine-hole mini-golf course with an app and a virtual reality experience based on ‘Squid Game’, ‘Stranger Things’, and ‘Rebel Moon’.

Visiting Netflix House

Netflix House is open from Mondays to Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (with potential special holiday hours).

Entry is free, and you can explore various attractions without paying a cent. Besides browsing the store, you can step into a full-size recreation of the Byers family living room from ‘Stranger Things’ and take photos with ‘Bridgerton’ throne, ‘Squid Game’ staircase, and ‘Big Mouth’ cutouts.

For the paid experiences, tickets start at $39 for ‘Wednesday’ and ‘One Piece’, $25 for the VR game, and $15 for mini-golf. Tickets are available online and in person.

Is Netflix House Kid-Friendly?

Netflix House aims to be a family-friendly destination, featuring elements from children’s and young adult shows like ‘Demon Hunters’ and ‘Sesame Street’. However, parental discretion is advised for the paid experiences, as some may be too intense or scary for younger fans.

The Future of Netflix House

Marian Lee envisions a Netflix House in every major city. While officially, there are locations in King of Prussia, Dallas, and a future venue in Las Vegas, the modular spaces will adapt to Netflix’s popular titles. Upcoming installations include Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ movie.

Lee’s goal is to connect fans with their favorite shows and films, offering an accessible form of entertainment during uncertain economic times. She wants fans to experience the same joy and emotional connection they feel at home, but in a real-life setting.

“I want people to be surprised and delighted, and leave feeling it was worth their time,” she said.
