RACHEL WILLIAMS

My name is Rachel Williams I was diagnosed with Leukemia on 8/28/06, at the age of 4.
I was in the hospital for about 3 months. I have been on chemo ever since along with many other medications. My life consist of many visits to clinic, blood counts, transfusions, and hospital stays.

I also have to endure many spinal taps and bone marrow testing to keep checking for Leukemia cells we been on treatment for one year now and although is all very hard on me I continue to improve.

This is really hard on my family because we have no family near by and I have an 8 year old brother who's life has been disrupted because of my cancer and with all the medicines I take he doesn't understand why my moods change from time to time or why there are certain things I am not allow to do or places I sometimes can't go.
We have found a new family with our carepage and I love to read messages and leave messages to others fighting like me.

I expect to be a cancer survivor and continue to fight this battle one day at a time.

Love,

Rachel
